Strengths are domain specialisation (knowledge), accessibility of resource, flexibility in approach, right-size delivery, calm and unfazed commercial negotiation style. Being a small team it doesn’t feel like you are paying for multiple resources when they are not all needed which can be an issue with other companies.
“Piers and his team have consistently provided quality, right-size advice and their expertise in Technology, SaaS and data privacy have been pivotal to us. I have also worked with Piers through complex client negotiations through which he has always provided a calm approach that gets the right results.”
“Clayden Law is a practice focused on Information technology, data privacy and cybersecurity law. We are a start up SaaS business and Clayden Law provides services directly relevant to our industry and stage of development – as an added bonus they are also within our geographical area. Clayden Law has directly relevant expertise and experience which ensures that we get the most relevant advice at a great price. Nailing our terms and conditions, order form and maintenance and support SLAs at an early stage will reap significant rewards as we progress.”
Clayden Law demonstrates ‘exceptional industry knowledge‘, particularly in EdTech and advises on data protection, cybersecurity, and commercial matters, including digital content licensing, IP and provides notary public services for international transactions. “The approach is friendly, collaborative (with lots of patience to explain concepts to us, as well understand our point of view), but most of all knowledgeable and quick to act when urgent deadlines suddenly appear. I was also extremely appreciative to experience what happens when something falls outside of their area of expertise. They reached out to their network and found us the right partner to work with in that area as well.”
“The 2 individuals at the company who I had the most time with both exhibited different styles that gave me confidence in both their knowledge and having our best interests at heart.”
“Exceptional industry knowledge and truly understands what the problem is we are trying to solve. They look at things from a business and operational standpoint and not just a legal precedent. They will always ensure that they think of potential risks, scenarios and events that may occur and add in coverage. They are a rare firm that looks at the operational, logistical and commercial needs of contracts and SLA documents as opposed to what are the legal implications.”
